The Stonebow Unit

Hurley & Davies managed a £2M, four-phase refurbishment project at a secure mental health unit, focusing on single sex bed wards and ligature issues.
H&D provided Project Management services for the Trust on a complex internal refurbishment scheme at a secure mental health unit. The project was divided into four phases to ensure smooth execution and minimal disruption to the unit's operations.
The primary aim of the project was to provide single bed wards. These are essential for maintaining the dignity and privacy of patients. Additionally, we addressed all ligature issues to enhance the safety and security of the unit. Our team meticulously planned and coordinated each phase, ensuring that all work was completed to the highest standards.
The successful completion of this project significantly improved the living conditions and safety of the patients. Our comprehensive project management approach ensured that the refurbishment was carried out efficiently and effectively, meeting all the Trust’s requirements and standards.
