Down To Earth Training Centre Opened by First Minister Carwyn Jones

New Training Centre: Reciprocal single framed building [potentially the largest in the UK]. Eco Building: The project utilised sustainable and traditional building methods to create a stunning end product. The building is constructed to achieve a BREEAM excellent rating built almost exclusively with natural and locally sourced materials. As referenced by the Down to Earth team: With a stunning reciprocal frame roof, and floor to ceiling glass, this building will be a landmark and showcase the very best of natural and contemporary construction on a commercial level.
This project was funded by the Big Lottery Fund People and Places programme and the Welsh Government Communities Facilities Programme. In fact Carwyn Jones the First Minister of Wales officially opened the facility.
Hurley and Davies were the lead Design Consultant and Project Managers. We were responsible for the architectural design package, quantity surveying, contract administration and coordination with the civil and structural and mechanical and electrical engineers.
