Celtic Leisure Refurbishment
Hurley & Davies managed the refurbishment and reconfiguration of four leisure centres across Neath-Port Talbot following a fire incident.
Following a fire and subsequent demolition of a large leisure facility in Port Talbot, H&D were commissioned to refurbish and reconfigure a number of outlying leisure centres as part of an insurance settlement. This initiative aimed to continue accommodating the existing members affected by the loss of the main facility.
The scheme involved the refurbishment and reconfiguration of four leisure centres to mitigate the client’s loss. Our work included extensive liaison and negotiation with insurers and loss adjustors to ensure a smooth settlement process. Additionally, we acted as the lead consultant for the refurbishment works. This involved overseeing the entire project to ensure it met the required standards and timelines.
The successful completion of this project ensured that the leisure centres were adequately refurbished and reconfigured to accommodate existing members. Our comprehensive approach and effective negotiation with insurers and loss adjustors facilitated a seamless transition and restoration of services for the community.
