UWTSD Immersive Technology Room

Hurley & Davies Ltd helped deliver Wales’ first immersive technology learning rooms at UWTSD, featuring cutting-edge Samsung LED technology.
H&D played a key role in the design and enabling works of the Immersive Technology Rooms at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD). These state-of-the-art rooms, located at the Carmarthen and Swansea campuses, are the first of their kind in Wales within a higher education setting. Each space features cutting-edge Samsung LED screens installed across three custom-built walls, delivering a fully immersive virtual and augmented reality experience for students and educators alike.
Our team collaborated closely with a range of specialist consultants to bring this innovative vision to life. The result is a dynamic, future-ready learning environment that pushes the boundaries of digital education. These immersive rooms not only enhance student engagement but also position UWTSD at the forefront of educational technology in Wales.
We’re proud to have contributed to such a pioneering project and extend our thanks to everyone involved in making it a success. The Immersive Technology Rooms stand as a testament to what can be achieved through collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to excellence in education.
