We recently ran an OGSM brainstorming workshop for a client which enabled them to formulate their Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures for the next 3 years. We followed this up with a test and challenge session to assess how SMART the strategy was before facilitating the production of the annual implementation plan.
Office & Workspace
We conduct comprehensive building surveys to identify the upgrading works required to adhere to current legislation standards. Detailed reports with financial analyses are prepared to assess properties’ liabilities at lease end. We provide project management and full architectural design services ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
We also offer detailed appraisals, utilising our in-house estate software package to produce thorough condition surveys and forward maintenance plans. This approach ensures that all aspects of office and workspace management are comprehensively addressed, from compliance and safety to financial planning and long-term maintenance. We conduct detailed surveys, such as those required for converting listed establishments into functional community settings, like transforming an old Grade 2 listed chapel into a library. Down To Earth Project
Winner of Wales most sustainable venue, March 2018!
New Training Centre: Reciprocal single framed building, potentially the largest in the UK.
Eco Building: The project utilised sustainable and traditional building methods to create a stunning end product. The building is constructed to achieve a BREEAM excellent rating built almost exclusively with natural and locally sourced materials.
As referenced by the Down to Earth team: With a stunning reciprocal frame roof, and floor to ceiling glass, this building will be a landmark and showcase the very best of natural and contemporary construction on a commercial level.
This project was funded by the Big Lottery Fund People and Places programme and the Welsh Government Communities Facilities Programme. In fact Carwyn Jones the First Minister of Wales officially opened the facility.
Hurley and Davies were the lead Design Consultant and Project Managers. We were responsible for the architectural design package, quantity surveying, contract administration and coordination with the civil and structural and mechanical and electrical engineers.

Carlton Drive Oakdale
We were commissioned to provide building surveying services to prepare a Schedule of Condition for a prospective tenant’s new lease. Our survey included a thorough examination of the property, detailing its condition according to standard RICS Condition Ratings.
Using drone technology, we captured high-level and roof details, focusing on potential problem areas under the guidance of an experienced building surveyor.
The survey report included descriptive text supported by photographs, highlighting any areas of disrepair at the time of inspection. The final Schedule of Condition was formatted to align with the lease document, helping to protect the tenant from future dilapidation claims by the landlord.
